After reading the book It’s My Pleasure, I asked Dee Ann Turner to come and speak at the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive annual leadership meeting. As is true with many industries, building a healthy culture and hiring top talent is a priority topic that receives a lot of attention within our business. It is something we are constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate. Our leadership group of over 100 different managing partners was attending the meeting and had previously heard many different ideas on this front. As a Senior Executive at the company, I wanted to get someone to come speak on this important topic who had a refreshing perspective and could leave our team with some simple and practical tools to implement in their own operation – Dee Ann was up for the challenge!
